Year R Pip and Pap Parent Workshop

Year R had a lovely time in their parent and child parent workshop, reading Pip and Pap Orange Phase Book 7 "Papa and the Dog!" They recapped the grapheme-phoneme correspondences /g/ /o/ 'c' and /k/ before starting the story. They then sounded out and blended words such as 'dig', 'Papa', 'dog', 'pot', 'stop' and 'kip' and answered questions about the story.

In this book, Nan brings Papa a 'pot' full of tea - so pupils made their own teapots with paper plates and craft materials! Aren't they wonderful?
