Minutes of session 1:

• This week we discussed our reading area on the playground and celebrated the successes that we have had with this. Our children are engaging with the books that are out on our KS2 playground and are demonstrating a real love for reading. 

• We also recapped the expectations of us as individuals in the school council and considered what this looks like around our school. 

• We discussed some fundraising ideas that we would like to implement within our summer fete.

Agreed actions from the meeting:

• To consider how we can implement a reading area on the KS1 playground that is accessible for all children.

• To facilitate an opportunity to gather ideas, within our classes, for improving our school community further.
