Year R Pip and Pap Workshop

Parents and pupils in Year R very much enjoyed their reading workshop this week, where they read Pip and Pap Phonics story "The Nap!"

In this book, Pip wants a nap, but things keep going wrong! Pupils sounded out and blended words such as 'taps,' 'pan', 'ants', 'Dad,' and 'naps' as part of their reading work. Then, they practiced writing their Earth Words - I, the, to, no, go.

Finally, pupils and parents made their own dreamcatchers together! Aren't they lovely?
