'The nursery has been having great fun exploring pancakes recently. We all had lots of opportunities to make and taste vegan pancakes with a variety of toppings to choose from. "Our pancakes were yummy yummy in our tummy".

We all noticed that all our pancakes were circles and this exploration took a role in all our play experiences during the week. We made circles with playdough, explored mark making circles using cars, used a circular motion when exploring the obstacle course in our garden and many many more. 

At home and while out and about you could also notice the shapes you see in the environment and the shapes you can create during play.'
